Bacon Bowtie Crackers
Equipment
- 1 Oven or Airfryer
- 1 Wire rack
- 1 Rimmed baking sheet (about the same size as the wire rack)
Ingredients
- 8 thin Bacon Slices
- 24 Rectangle shaped buttery crackers (such as Club or Captain's wafers)
- ¼ cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 250℉
- Cut each bacon slice crosswise into thirds to make a total of 24 pieces.
- Wrap one bacon piece around the narrow center of each cracker without overlapping ends.
- Arrange in a single layer, seam side down, on a lightly greased wire rack.
- Bake in a preheated oven until the bacon is crisp and the centers have pulled in to resemble a bow tie. (About 90 minutes in a conventional oven, less in an air fryer)
- When almost done, sprinkle the parmasean cheese on top and let melt. (about 10 minutes before you pull them out of the oven)
- Cool on wire rack 5 minutes before serving.
