Equipment

  • 1 Microwave (you can also melt the chocolate on your stove)
  • 1 Microwave Safe Bowl

Ingredients

  • 1 bag Hershey Kisses (aprox 60)
  • 1 box Bite-sized Nutter Butter crackers
  • 1 bag Nestle chocolate chips Get the mini-size if you can find them!

Instructions

  • Unwrap the Hershey Kisses and set aside.
  • Place ½ bag of chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl.
  • Melt chocolate chips in the microwave. Set timer for 5-second intervals, stirring well each time until melted.
  • Dip the flat end of the Hershey Kiss into the melted chocolate and top with the bite-size Nutter Butter. The melted chocolate acts as your glue!
  • Dip the flat end of a chocolate chip into the melted chocolate, and stick it to the top side of the Nutter Butter to form the stem.
  • Let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

If your chocolate cools and stops sticking, you may have to reheat it. Just microwave once or twice for another five seconds and stir.
If you can’t do peanut butter, substitute mini-Nilla Waffers for the acorn caps.
For another twist, you can also use Butterscotch Kisses for the acorn if you can find them.
